Animal Abuse and Human Abuse: The Partners in Crime!

untitledThere is a proven link between mass murderers and those convicted of other heinous crimes having abused animals at a younger age. As children, soon-to-be serial killers often torture animals; 99% have admitted to acting out violent fantasies on animals before doing so to humans. Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz and Jeffrey Dahmer have more in common than just being serial killers. These three murderers are also connected by the fact that each of them tortured and/or killed animals during their childhoods. “Researchers as well as FBI and other law enforcement agencies nationwide have linked animal cruelty to domestic violence, child abuse, serial killings and to the recent rash of killings by school age children”, says Dr. Randall Lockwood (vice president of training and initiatives for the Humane Society of the United States.

When counsellors at several federal penitentiaries evaluated inmates for levels of aggression, 70% of the most violent prisoners had serious and repeated animal abuse in their childhood histories, as compared to 6% of nonaggressive prisoners in the same facilities.

Other studies have shown that violent and aggressive criminals are more likely to have abused animals as children than criminals who are considered non-aggressive. A survey of psychiatric patients who had repeatedly tortured dogs and cats found that all of them had high levels of aggression toward people as well. According to a New South Wales newspaper, a police study in Australia revealed that “100 percent of sexual homicide offenders examined had a history of animal cruelty”. To researchers, a fascination with cruelty to animals is a red flag in the backgrounds of serial killers and rapists. According to the FBI’s Ressler, “These are the kids who never learned it’s wrong to poke out a puppy’s eyes”.

The importance of protecting animals from cruelty inflicted by people, who seem to disregard the fact that animals are sentient beings similar to humans, has been validated by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), which has now added animal cruelty to its list of Class A felonies. As of the beginning of 2016, the FBI started logging cases of animal abuse in their Incident-Based Reporting System where it keeps records of other felonies, such as homicide and arson.fdkjbgzd.jpg

A big motivating factor behind the effort to track animal abusers is the link between animal cruelty and every type of violent and non-violent crime.

Jeffrey Dahmer showed an intense interest in dismembering animals as a child. As an adult he was charged with murdering and dismembering at least sixteen people. Dahmer is just one example of this. Most people who are on death row for murder admit to abusing animals as childrenjrdzbgnd.png

Albert Disalvo (better known as the Boston Strangler) used to trap dogs and cats as a child and then shoot them with arrows.

Edward Emil Kemper lll was convicted of killing eight women, one of which was his own mother. When he was thirteen yrs. old he would kill neighbourhood cats and put their heads on poles. Kemper killed his own cat, decapitated it and then cut it into small pieces. This is the same thing he did to his own mother!

Ted Bundy was convicted of two murders though he was suspected of at least forty! Bundy used to watch as his own father tortured animals. Eventually, Bundy did the same.

Carroll Edward Cole, a serial killer accused of 35 deaths.

ALL RECOUNTED ANIMAL TORTURE AS THEIR FIRST VIOLENT ACT!!!

The list goes on…..

  2. I wish we could start with the SPCA.
They truly feel that their investigation department is filled with extremely intuitive workers but I disagree. They need to become tougher. I personally know someone that is rightfully under investigation and I explained that this particular animal abuser is a very good liar and was quickly told not to worry that the investigators will pick up immediately on it but of course they didn’t. He continues to sit in restaurants because he found a loop hole to acquire a service vest for his young golden retriever and beat his dog. On camera. In front of people. A daily occurrence. He will end up killing the dog. It’s been escalating for over a year now.
